- Sample Executive Director Report (Word) This is one I filed with the board a couple months after starting at City Club of Tacoma in 2009. It’s a template I still follow roughly today: a few paragraphs about a couple big things, and then short bullets about other accomplishments or actions. Seeing this might give you a good sense of the kind of information an ED could share with the board.
